The Seattle Cherry Blossom & Japanese Cultural Festival is a fabulous showcase of traditional Japanese culture and heritage and is one of the biggest free public events in the state. Visitors can enjoy a packed programme of events and entertainment that includes live music, dancing, martial arts demonstrations, Japanese costume parades, traditional tea ceremonies, art exhibitions, cultural demonstrations, food and drink events and special children's activities and entertainment. The festival offers visitors a unique opportunity to learn more about Japanese culture and customs and how they are interpreted and practised today by the country's Japanese American community.
