This fun-packed family festival includes a wide ranging entertainment programme consisting of live music, theatre and comedy with acts and performances to suit all age groups. The main hub of the performances takes place around the Fitzgerald Stadium with an eclectic range of live music with previous performers ranging from old favourites such as Status Quo and Meatloaf through to more modern bands popular with younger audiences. The festival also embraces a popular comedy programme entitled 'Summer Laughs' which showcases some of the best new talent on the circuit. The wide scope of the festival is reflected in a programme of events that ranges from children's workshops to classical music performances.
