Over the course of three days and nights, this cutting edge music festival explores the latest developments in electronic music through DJ sets, concerts, conferences, exhibitions, meetings and discussions. This is a forum for the alert public, savvy artists and the most influential professionals from the sectors of music and modern arts. Sonar presents more than 300 activities in every multimedia format including installations, internet art, design and museum format. Each night DJs, VDJs and concerts from the broadest spectrum of dance music are staged simultaneously in four festival areas, divided between covered and open-air spaces. Day and night time activities are spread across a number of venues on the south side of the city centre.
