Leopardstown Christmas Racing Festival,

Leopardstown, Ireland

26 Dec 2010 - 29 Dec 2010

Beginning on Boxing Day, this four-day horserace meeting is the perfect way to blow off the Christmas cobwebs. As much a part of Christmas in and around Dublin as mince pies and mistletoe, this popular meeting attracts passionate support for the races during which over €1million is up for grabs for winning jockeys and trainers. Crowds in excess of 65,000 attend the festival and those that really want to enjoy the day in style can opt for the VIP treatment, which begins with a mulled wine reception before the racing and includes a full meal and the expert advice of a tipster to help you select the right horse for that annual bet.

Times
The first race usually begins at 1015 each day with another at around midday.
