Founded in 1953 by The University of Western Australia, this is the oldest international arts festival in Australia. Over its long history it has developed into Western Australia's biggest cultural event, attracting over 300,000 visitors each year. The festival brings the entire city alive with national, international and aboriginal dance, music and visual art performances.
