01 Nov 2009 - 31 Dec 2009 Date to be confirmed

The festive season sees a spate of jollity in the second city of Wales, headed up with some choice seasonal markets. Swansea boasts the largest indoor market in Wales, with over 100 stalls offering a range of festive fare from sprigs of holly and mistletoe to Welsh cheeses. In the run-up to Christmas, a German Food and Drink Stall takes over Castle Square, along with UK Crafts stalls. Swansea's traditional Christmas Street Market runs through the first half of December with numerous stalls and some lively street entertainment to help ward off the winter chills. Santa will be there to turn on the lights before taking up post in his grotto.
