Big Day Out is Australia's biggest touring music festival, with day-long events running in Auckland, Gold Coast, Sydney, Melbourne, Adeleide and Perth. Each event sees thousands of visitors revel in the sun and music as both Australian and international acts take to the stage. Past events have seen the likes of Kate Nash, LCD Soundsystem, Bjork and Arcade Fire play alongside local bands. Aside from the first-class music, visitors can walk amongst the art installations or get refreshments at one of the many food and drink stalls.
