More reserved than some of France's other Pride events, the Bordeaux Lesbian and Gay Pride is heavy on its political message. But don't let all the seriousness fool you because come midnight, the partying properly gets underway with bawdy comedy, drag acts and dancing, with the fun unlikely to stop until dawn.
