Pig races, live music, pie-eating contests, karaoke, arts and crafts, a petting zoo and a strolling scarecrow; it is all happening at the annual Farmers Market Fall Festival. Wholesome family fun is provided by marching bands and other special acts and bands just for the kids. And then there are the market's usual restaurants, shops, bars and grocers. The exact dates shift each year, but if the festival falls near to Halloween, visitors can expect a spooky eyeful of dressed-up merchants and staff too.
