The 20 KM de Paris attracts some 20,000 runners every year, and with thousands of euros up for grabs as prize money, the competition is serious. The race starts at Pont d'Iéna, opposite the Eiffel Tower. The route then winds it way through the streets of Paris, across the Bois de Boulogne and along the banks of the Seine, with the finishing line on the Quai Branly at the foot of the Eiffel Tower. Spectators can enjoy musical entertainment along the route.

Getting There

Rail: The nearest RER stations are Champs de mars - Tour Eiffel or Pont de l'Alma (line C).
Underground: The nearest Metro stations are Bir Hakeim - Grenelle, Duplex or Trocadéro (line 6).
Bus: No 42, 82, 69 and 87 all stop at or close by.
