Open Garden Squares Weekend provides a rare opportunity to discover some of London's hidden treasures. The event is organised by the London Parks and Gardens Trust and gives ticket holders access to over 130 private communal and institutional gardens across London on one weekend each year. It aims to highlight the beauty and diversity of London's historic gardens and other green spaces. Venues taking place this year include two prison gardens at Wormwood Scrubs and Holloway, the private garden of the pioneer psychoanalyst Sigmund Freud and the 18th-century villa landscape of Grove House (now part of Roehampton University). The event is sponsored by Loire Valley Wines.
