This is Wirral's annual celebration of the guitar and guitar music. At various venues on the peninsular, classical music, jazz, rock, blues, slide, country and flamenco guitar music can be enjoyed during the festival. The variety of musical styles and expressions means there is something for everyone. Amazing music performed by the world's top players in superb surroundings is the hallmark of this, the largest annual festival of its kind in the world.

Road: Wirral is easily reached via Liverpool using the two Mersey Road Tunnels. Also, the M53 traverses the peninsula with junctions never more than minutes from the coast and direct links to the M56, M6, M62 and the M1.
Water: Mersey ferries operate services to Wirral.
Rail: Merseyrail underground railway system operates services to Wirral.
