The Isle of Wight is a legendary music festival that has attracted some of the greatest names in rock and pop music - Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, The Who and The Band among them. After huge crowds gathered on the island in the late 1960s, however, the festival ceased until 2002, when it was given a new lease of life. It is still a popular festival, with lots of young people flocking to the Isle of Wight to enjoy a weekend of music, camping and fun. The festival offers three days of performances by some of the best bands and artists around.
