Great Tree at Macy's Lighting Ceremony,

The Great Tree at Macy's Lighting Ceremony is an Atlanta tradition that dates back to 1947. The tree itself is a spectacular site usually measuring over 20m (65ft) in height and is decorated with thousands of lights, huge football-sized decorations and ornaments and stunning strobe light displays. The hour-long lighting ceremony is a popular family-friendly event that takes place on Thanksgiving night.
