The Ford Tour de Georgia is a one of the biggest cycling events in North America. Consisting of six stages with one stage raced on each day, this is tough endurance race with competitors covering a distance of close to 1,000km (621 miles) of strength-sapping terrain in their quest to be crowned champion. Each year, cyclists follow a new route that takes in some of Georgia's most stunning scenery and landscapes.
