This is a festival consisting of three different, but overlapping festivals: the South by Southwest Music Conference and Festival, the SXSW Film Conference and Festival and the SXSW Interactive Festival. The three industry events converge in Austin during a long week in March, thereby mirroring the ever increasing links between the entertainment and media industries. The whole festival is a great occasion for people in these industries to meet, network and share ideas and views. There are plenty of films to watch, and many bands perform over the course of the festival.
