This Half Marathon begins at historic Cabrillo National Monument - with its majestic view of both San Diego Bay and the Pacific Ocean - then follows scenic San Diego Bay and Harbor Island along the Embarcadero to The Star of India, winds through downtown San Diego, and ends in beautiful Balboa Park. It is also possible to take part in a 5km-run/walk along a course in Balboa Park.

The Half Marathon begins at the historic Cabrillo National Monument out to the west of the city centre and winds through San Diego before ending in Balboa Park to the north-east

Getting There

Road: There is no private vehicle access to Cabrillo Monument on race morning, but it is possible to park in any legal parking lot in Balboa Park, where the Half Marathon finishes
