Held over the Memorial Day weekend at the beautiful beachside setting on the Gulf of Mexico, the US Wind & Water Open (formerly the Velocity Games) promises an adrenaline-filled weekend. Over the duration of the tournament, spectators can watch competitors work their magic in the disciplines of kiteboarding, windsurfing and skateboarding. First held in 2003, the event has grown to become one of the biggest multi-sport events of its kind in the region that each year attracts upwards of 40,000 spectators.
