Crufts Dog Show,

Crufts was founded in 1891 by Charles Cruft who became wealthy from the enterprise. Now it is not run for commercial gain but controlled by the Kennel Club. The event is internationally recognised as the world's most important dog show. Held at the NEC, the UK's largest exhibition venue, Crufts receives around 120,000 visitors and over 22,000 dogs enter each year. Such is its fame that it receives daily coverage on television with the 'best in show' judging and awards broadcast live on the Sunday evening.

Getting There

Bus: National Express runs regular coach services to the NEC.
Road: The NEC is served by the M6 and M42 motorways and there are extensive car parking facilities on site. Free shuttle buses operate from the car parks to the main entrance.
Rail: Fast, frequent Inter-City service from London and many regional centres to Birmingham International Station. A covered bridgelink connects to the NEC.
