The Cork festival is one of the biggest St Patrick's Day events in Ireland and has events for all the family. One of the most popular events is the street parade which sees marching bands from Ireland and the USA, samba bands, street performers and costumed dancers make their way noisily through the city's streets. As well as the many street performances, there are also a number of events and exhibitions taking place in various buildings throughout Cork ranging from live music to storytelling workshops and puppet shows.
