"The Couch: Thinking in Repose",

Born on 6 May 1856, Sigmund Freud is famed around the world as the founding father of the psychoanalysis strand of psychology. In 2006, the Sigmund Freud Museum in Vienna celebrates the 150th anniversary of his birth with a special exhibition and programme of events. “The Couch: Thinking in Repose” is dedicated to Freud, his life, influences and theories and runs throughout the year. Freud studied at the famous Vienna University and also spent much of his professional life in the city
