Around 35,000 visitors come to Gardening Scotland - a major horticultural show featuring over 400 exhibitors. Enthusiastic gardeners find inspiration, as well as plants and gardening merchandise to buy. The exhibition and patio gardens showcase the best in garden design and the Floral Hall (the size of a football pitch) is stocked with a riot of blooms. The Beechgrove Theatre hosts gardening advice shows, cookery demonstrations and catwalk fashion shows and the Food Hall brings gourmet treats from across Scotland. There are six full size show gardens and 11 patio gardens. The Floral Hall features top quality exhibitors displaying many new and rare plants. Gardening Scotland takes place at the Royal Highland Centre at the western edge of the city.
