Over a 10-day period, the prestigious Starz Denver International Film Festival (SDIFF) presents a programme of approximately 175 films including features, shorts, documentaries, animations and other experimental works. Each year, a particular actor or filmmaker is honoured with the “Mayor's Lifetime Achievement Award” with past recipients including such leading luminaries as Francis Ford Coppola, Morgan Freeman and Ang Lee.
