Hosted at various theatres in the Bay Area of the city, the annual San Francisco Indie Film Festival aims to bring a range of obscure independent films to audiences in San Francisco. The festival provides an alternative screening programme to the usual mainstream fodder, and audiences can take their pick from a mix of student shorts and animations through to full, low-budget features from cult directors who are already making waves on the underground independent film scene.
