Fourth of July Celebrations,

Many of San Diego's Independence Day celebrations take place on Coronado Island kicking off with the 15km (9 miles) marathon and 5km (3 miles) walk beginning at Tidelands Park. Starting at 0830 is the Rough Water Swim at Central Beach. Other attractions and entertainment include Art in the Park which showcases local artists' work, live music, celebrations and open days. Many of the San Diego's parks also hold special events.

Principal location is Coronado Island, directly across the bay from downtown San Diego

Getting There
