Brighton, United Kingdom

07 Aug 2010

Over 70 events take place during Pride Week ranging from fundraising to seminars and debates. But the biggest and most eagerly awaited event of the week is the Carnival Parade and Pride March, which always takes place on the Saturday. The whole town gets in the spirit of the event with the streets turned over to the party that makes its way along the sea front and on to Preston Park. Attracting over 120,000 visitors each year, it is one of the biggest gay and lesbian events in the country.
