ITB International Tourism Exchange,

The first three days of this major five-day event are restricted to trade visitors. One of the leading trade fairs for the global tourism industry, it is a mainly business-oriented affair, but with opportunities for the public to join in over the weekend. With 10,000 exhibitors from approximately 180 countries and regions, the represent the full spectrum of global tourism at all levels. Exhibitors include tour operators and travel agents, tourist offices, transport operators and hotel companies. There are always a number of stands dedicated to new developments and trends in world tourism. There are seminars and meetings, demonstrations and sideshows, and plenty to eat and drink offering visitors the chance to sample various delights from around the world.
