Brisbane International Film Festival,

Brisbane, Australia

01 Jul 2010 - 31 Aug 2010 Date to be confirmed

The annual Brisbane International Film Festival screens approximately 300 features, shorts, documentaries, animations and experimental works during its two-week run. First held in 1992, the festival has become an important part of the city's vibrant visual arts scene, each year attracting ever-greater audiences as well as the odd star with the likes of Kevin Spacey and Miranda Otto having attended in the past. And a relatively new edition to the festival programme is the Cine Sparks Workshops aimed at 8 to 18-year-olds.
