01 Oct 2010 - 31 Oct 2010 Date to be confirmed

Whilst Sydney's popular Mardi Gras Party is all sweetness and light, the city's annual Sleaze Ball caters to the edgier, darker side of gay and lesbian celebrations. The ball was first held in 1982 and was so popular that over 500 revellers had to be turned away. And the event continues to grow in popularity each year attracting ever larger crowds who come to dance the night away. Dressing up is compulsory and the more flamboyant the better, so expect a dazzling cast of characters in outlandish costumes. Revellers party through until dawn so you'll need plenty of energy to join this party.
