Victoria's annual Spring Racing Carnival is a 50-day horse racing programme that creates a real party atmosphere that sets this event in a class all of its own. As well as top class horse racing events which take place at various venues in the state, the carnival is also a great social event that offers visitors a chance to don their fineries and enjoy the spectacular party atmosphere. Each year, close to 750,000 racing fans from all over the world attend the prestigious event that ranks as one of the most important horse race meetings in Australia.
