Held each year in Kings Park and Botanic Garden, the Perth Wildflower Festival is one of the city's best-loved events. Lasting for an entire month from the start of spring, this popular event attracts thousands of visitors each year. Each weekend has a different theme with exciting and interactive events and spectacular displays of Western Australian wildflowers. It was first held in 1961 and over the years has earned itself legions of fans that come here each year to see the spectacular displays of Western Australian wildflowers. It's a family-friendly event with plenty of attractions, events and entertainment specifically for children. It's recommended that visitors come more than once during the month to see the changing colours as the different plants and flowers come into bloom.

Bus: Services run between the city along St George's Terrace and into Kings Park and Botanic Garden.
