Edinburgh International Jazz and Blues Festival,

Edinburgh, United Kingdom

This is one of the longest-running jazz festivals in the country and every year a wide range of jazz musicians perform at the many venues of the Edinburgh International Jazz and Blues Festival. Top artists in past years have included Dr John, Sugar Blue, Bruce Katz, Humphrey Lyttleton, Larry Adler and Courtney Pine. As well as indoor concerts, there are also free outdoor events, including the highly popular Mardi Gras, which takes place in the Grassmarket, just south of Edinburgh Castle.
