Argentine Open Polo Championships, 

Buenos Aires, Argentina

Privileged visitors to the annual 'Campeonato Argentino de Polo' will witness many a great polo game at what claims to be the fifth oldest polo tournament in the world. They can also expect to see some of the very best players in the game today, as teams from all over the polo-playing world compete in the prestigious tournament. The host country boasts some of the top players and clubs, including Buenos Aires' own Hurlingham Club. The popular polo championship is a major social event as well a sporting highlight on the Argentine calendar. It is regarded by many as both an exciting spectacle and an unmissable opportunity for high-level socialising and some first-rate people-watching.
