Australian Grand Prix (Formula 1),

Although the Australian leg of the Grand Prix was traditionally held in Adelaide, Melbourne won the battle in 1996 to play host to the prestigious event. Ever since motor sport fanatics have been entertained at the city's purpose-built Albert Park Race Track. Spectators travel from all over the world to watch the four-day programme of racing which also includes plenty of off-track events and entertainment.

Getting There

Tram: Frequent free trams operate from various pick-up points.
Bus: A regular bus service operates from Spencer Street Station and Olympic Park.
Road: There is no parking near the circuit and drivers must use park and ride.
