Taking place at music venues, public squares and open-air spaces throughout the city, the Aarhus International Jazz Festival attracts large and enthusiastic crowds for a week-long programme of jazz music. The festival covers a wide range of musical styles ranging from traditional Dixieland jazz to electronic experimentation with a healthy mix of world music stars and popular Danish singers thrown in for good measure.
