Starting and finishing at the Atletion Arhus Stadium, the 42.195km- (26 miles) route passes through some of Aarhus' most scenic areas including the picturesque Brabrand Lake and the Marselisborg Forest. Open to professional and amateur runners over the age of 18, this is a popular event that always draws good support from large and encouraging crowds that line the route.

Getting There

Road: Aarhus is approximately 180km (115 miles) northwest of Copenhagen via the 211, 16 and 225 motorways. The E45 motorway also runs north to south through Aarhus.
Water: A number of ferry services operate services to Grena which is approximately 40km (25 miles) east of Aarhus.
Bus: Numerous bus services connect with Aarhus.
Rail: Numerous train services connect with Aarhus.
