Six Nations Pow Wow,

Brantford, Canada

01 Jul 2010 - 31 Jul 2010 Date to be confirmed

The Grand River Reserve of the Six Nations is the scene of a succession of Native celebrations through the year. Foremost among them is the Pow Wow Dance Competition which attracts over 400 dancers in authentic costume from across North America. Smoke dancing, drum groups and general entertainers perform over the weekend, and more than 100 craft and food stalls keep visitors well supplied. This is a good opportunity to witness some authentic Native American culture in the context of popular entertainment.
