Opened with a Friday night gala in town, Folk on the Rocks is a weekend-long festival of music and culture that attracts musicians from Canada and around the world. Held over two long nights in the land of the midnight sun, it is one of the biggest parties in the Canadian North. More than 24 hours of programming on five stages serves up something for everyone, and there is a children's area, a beer garden and craft fair as well. A wide range of international and traditional cuisine is available.
