Williams Lake Stampede,

Visitors come from all over to see the Williams Lake Stampede, one of Canada's top rodeo events. They come to witness the thrills and spills of Bareback Riding events, the fun and laughter of the Barrel Racing and the cowboy's full repertoire of skills displayed in the Bull Riding, Tie Down Roping, Cutting Horse and Mountain Race events. Besides all this, there are Pony Chariot Races, Wild Horse Races, Pony Chuckwagon, Saddle Bronc, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping and Top Dog events.

Starts at 1300 and 1800.

Getting There

Road: Williams Lake is approximately 550km (344 miles) north of Vancouver, 240km (150 miles) south of Prince George, by way of Highway 97.

Adults C$15-18; children (aged 12 and under)/seniors/concessions C$10; seniors over 80 free.
