01 May 2010 - 31 May 2010 Date to be confirmed

Vancouver's own city marathon follows a mostly flat, paved, spectator-friendly course starting on Pacific Boulevard at the south side of BC Place Stadium. The route goes out and back along the inner harbour of False Creek, through historic Gastown and into forested Stanley Park. Runners emerge on the south side before crossing Burrard Street Bridge to the spectator-filled cafes and beaches of Kitsilano neighborhood. The finishing line is back at the BC Place Stadium. An expanded finishing area is equipped with DJ music and essential organic fresh fruit, snacks and beverages. Families and friends can meet late finishers here on Pacific Boulevard. Besides the full marathon there are separate competitions for half marathon, wheelchair marathon, kids and fun run events.
