The Phuket event has developed into one of the largest 7s tournaments in Asia, with an expected turnout of around 40 teams from at least 10 nations taking part. The games last 10 minutes each half, meaning that the pace of 7s games is usually fast and furious and spectators can expect to see some exciting match ups as teams battle it out in a bid to reach the final. Almost as important as the football games during the day, the tournament organisers ensure visiting teams have a good time with plenty of social events arranged for each evening.
