Every Saturday evening during the summer months, the little village of Montgothier is dominated by the colossal sets of this spectacular sound and light show. Hundreds of volunteer actors - not to mention dozens of horses, carriages and numerous dogs - take part in this extravaganza which unfolds partly onstage and partly in the grounds and the moat at the centre of the village. Using the latest sound and light technology along with elaborate costumes and props, the company tells the story of the history of the area covering events from William the Conqueror to the Normandy Landings.
