Toulouse International Organ Festival,

Toulouse, France

01 Oct 2010 - 31 Oct 2010 Date to be confirmed

With a long history of organ production and players, it seems fitting that the city hosts the annual Toulouse International Organ Festival. Organised by Toulouse les Orgues, the event celebrates organ music with a diverse range of concerts and performances. Taking place each autumn since 1996, this relatively young event has already proved itself something of a favourite and attracts large and enthusiastic crowds of music lovers and organ enthusiasts. The festival has grown each year and now includes a programme of approximately 60 events taking place in Toulouse and the Midi-Pyrenees region. But the event is about more than just music and visitors are invited to enjoy the area's beautiful countryside and gastronomic treats through a series of events.
