The event takes place in some 30 towns across Limousin and promotes an exciting programme of French-language theatre, dance, music and performances. The festival looks beyond its own borders and includes works by French-speaking nationals of other countries as diverse as Brazil, Canada, Morocco and Romania. The event has taken place every year since 1984 and continues to attract legions of French-speaking artists, actors, musicians and writers keen to celebrate the French language.
