Taking place in the centre of the historic town of Sintra, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage and Cultural Landscape, this fair is a great place to wander around and simply browse the many local and traditional products on sale. The traditional market dates back hundreds of years to the time of Dona Maria I and is subject to municipal regulations to ensure its authenticity is preserved.
