Sark Wild Flower Fortnight,

Sark, United Kingdom

24 Apr 2010 - 08 May 2010

Celebrating the incredible diversity of the island's wild flowers, Sark heralds the imminent arrival of summer with this popular two-week flower festival. At this time of year, the island's many walking trails are ablaze with colour from the wild flowers that dominate the coastal paths and headlands. Visitors and islanders unite in their appreciation of the spectacular flowers with a series of guided walks across the island, highlighting spots of particular beauty. There is also an informative exhibition in the visitor centre which runs throughout the duration of the event.
